Rhinitis is a nasal inflammation, classified according to the factors that trigger it:

Infectious rhinitis – inflammation of the nasal mucosa. The defensive reaction of the body to the attack of viruses or bacteria. The increased amount of secretion is designed to remove all microbes, allergens and impurities.
Allergic rhinitis – is caused by an allergic response to specific factors, such as pollen, dust or pet hair. During an allergic response, the immune system overreacts to the presence of one of these allergens in the air.
