Children aged 2-12 years who experience nasal congestion whose symptoms may be:

How is XEDINE HA for children 0,5 mg/ml nasal spray used?

Recommended dose for administration:

Children 2-12 years:

  • 1 spray of XEDINE HA 0.5 mg/ml nasal spray in each nostril, up to 3 times a day.
  • XEDINE HA for children 0,5 mg/ml nasal spray should not be used in children under 2 years of age.

Instructions for use:

  • The medicine is for nasal administration.
  • Before the first application, it is necessary to spray in the air several times (5 times) to obtain a uniform dose.
  • If the medicine is not used for a few days, it must be sprayed in the air, as test, at least once to obtain a uniform dose.
  • The medicine should be used after blowing the nose.
  • After application, the pump must be carefully wiped with a clean, dry paper towel and the protective cover must be applied.
  • For reasons of hygiene and to avoid the transmission of infections, each spray bottle should be used by one person.

Period of treatment:

  • XEDINE HA nasal spray should not be used for more than 5-7 days.
  • If no improvement in symptoms is observed or the symptoms worsen after 3 days of treatment, the clinical condition should be re-evaluated.
  • Excessive, long-term use can cause reactive hyperemia or rebound congestion.
  • The product can be used up to 6 months after the first use.
